The External Affairs committee facilitates and maintains relationships between the Regents Scholar Society and the UCLA community. The committee organizes and coordinates events with faculty members that allow Regents Scholars to interact with faculty outside of the classroom setting. As a member of the committee, you will have the opportunity to be involved in developing relationships with the faculty members and coordinating these events, such our Dinner with Faculty or Faculty Appreciation Event, which is one of the largest RSS events with the year. The External Affairs committee also oversees the educational aspects of RSS and hosts faculty speaker events, workshops, and information sessions to assist Regents Scholars. Committee members assist in planning these events, such as our annual dorm dinner with UCLA medical students. There are many ways to be involved with the External Affairs committee and we would love to have your help!
