The Funding Committee provides the backbone for all other operations, functions, and activities undertaken by the Regents Scholar Society. This includes securing funding for all those necessary administrative costs, as well as those amazing social events with distinguished faculty, political leaders, and, of course, members of our own society!
The Funding committee is responsible for organizing all fundraising (read: FUN-draising) events as well as venturing outside the comfortable bounds of the UCLA campus and into the wild world of corporate america to secure additional sponsorships.
This committee is YOUR chance to become involved with the Society and gain some real-world experience on financial and organizational matters. You will help your fellow RSS members in brainstorming and planning funding events, which can be both excellent bonding times and lucrative activities, that will fuel the endeavors of Outreach, LAMP, Activities, and literally every other RSS committee.
