Albert, workshop coordinator

LAMP provides opportunities throughout the school year in the form of financial aid workshops, UC/CSU application workshops, personal statement editing, and an essay competition in which the winner receives a book scholarship for a test preparation book of their choice. These workshops attempt to help students anticipate and prepare for obstacles and opportunities that will arise in their academic careers. These activities help motivate high school students to realize their college dreams and provide a unique volunteer opportunity for UCLA students to prepare, practice, and administer a curriculum while working with youth.
